The ship was seized by Panama last week after "undeclared military cargo" was found hidden in a shipment of sugar.

United Nations sanctions prohibit the supply of arms to North Korea in the dispute over its nuclear programme.

A Cuban foreign ministry statement said Cuba reaffirmed its commitment to "peace, disarmament, including nuclear disarmament, and respect for international law".

It said the vessel was carrying 240 tonnes of obsolete defensive weapons - two anti-aircraft missile complexes, nine missiles in parts and spares, two MiG-21bis fighter planes and 15 MiG engines.

The funerals of three teenagers who were abducted and murdered while hitch-hiking in the occupied West Bank have been held in Israel.

Addressing thousands of mourners, PM Benjamin Netanyahu described their killers as "heinous murderers".

Israel has blamed the Palestinian militant group Hamas for the deaths. Hamas has denied any involvement.nu skin 如新

The youths' bodies were found on Monday evening, more than two weeks after the trio went missing.

Mr Netanyahu has said Hamas will be made to pay a price for the killings.

For the three months to 24 May, the supermarket said like-for-like UK sales including VAT and excluding petrol fell by 3.7%.

Chief executive Philip Clarke said trading would remain challenging "throughout the coming quarters".

Tesco reported a 6% fall in annual profits in April.

The BBC's business editor Kamal Ahmed says that internally, Tesco has admitted the fall in sales is its worst performance for 20 years.

Think of the Cuban sandwich today and it is Miami, with its Little Havana neighbourhood and prominent Cuban community, that springs to mind. Travellers flock here for what they know as Miami’s most iconic dish. And born-and-bred Miamians rarely know (or at least acknowledge) that the cherished favourite began miles north in Tampa. Another young man, a 21-year-old who wears his sadness on a bright handsome face, says he stopped fighting with the Free Syrian Army (FSA) after he took five bullets in his leg.

"There were no trained doctors or the right medicine to amputate my leg," he explains. "They gave us painkillers but it was very painful."
